Hung Liu at the Oakland Museum

I was wondering what it would be like to be up close. It is as I suspected, much better than the online imagery. There's something so visceral about paint that is almost out of control but so exquisitely in control. The large pieces allowed me to feel inside the experiences... the drips and sketchy strokes suggesting a passage of time.
